Upon arrival at Melbourne Airport, I continued the journey on the road by car over the major highways linking to The Grampians – one of Victoria’s most popular natural attractions located north-west of Melbourne, renowned for rugged mountain ranges.
It took me approximately 3 hours’ drive to reach Halls Gap (including a short coffee break at a café house – Yellow Espresso at Ballarat). It is always advisable to take a break in between your drive especially if you are not used to long hours on the road.
On our first stop, we took advantage of the splendid weather and visited the breath-taking scenic mountain top while enjoying the sunset at the Reed Lookout & The Balconies. You can also catch a sight of the spectacular mountain vistas in the video…it is truly breath-taking.
Boroka is another lookout that offers the best panoramic views of the Grampians. Rock climbing is a popular activity often done by the tourists of all ages.
